Cheap Shoes are not Worth the Cost - Take Care of You and Your Feet!

Believe it or not folks, but a woman takes a lot of notice of a man by the shoes he wears. A lot of guys skimp on footwear and focus on the more 'visible' clothing items, but even if you're prancing around in an Armani suite, if your shoes aren't up to scratch, you'll not cut it with the ladies. Shoes that look cheap, or even unpolished pricy ones, can make an unfavorable impression overall and gives out a negative influence.

Although your footwear is at ground level, a pair of poorly designed or cheap looking shoes will give the impression that the wearer has little regard for his appearance, even if he is wearing the latest fashion in clothing. It's like my father once told me, "A good pair of shoes is never cheap and a cheap pair of shoes is never good. How can you argue with that?

I invested (and it is an investment), in a beautiful pair of hand made Italian shoes about 7 years ago and they still look and feel just fantastic. Yes, they did cost a pretty penny at the time, but they've since paid for themselves many times over, and there's plenty of life left in them yet. This simply means that high quality men's shoes are eventually going to be more cost efficient than the cheap poor quality ones that are not made to last.

But impressing others with well kept quality footwear is not the only drawback to cheap shoes. Most folks spend a lot of time on their feet and it's a good idea to look after them by covering them in footwear that is both comfortable and safe. Materials that don't feel good on your feet the when you slip them on, is not going to get any better as the day wears on.

Many ladies change their shoes almost as often as they change their underwear and so as they don't look as these foot accessories as a long term investment, they often opt for cheap shoes that they can happily throw out once the fashion has passed or they get bored with the design. But a lot of women suffer the consequences of this later on in life.

How many of our good ladies, middle aged and above, come home at the end of a hard day and find it necessary to soak their aching feet in hot bowl water? Compare this to men folk and you'll see what I mean. Wearing cheap women's shoes while you are young can be damaging to your feet, and you may well develop all kinds of foot problems later on in life.

The best time to start taking good care of our feet with quality footwear is obviously when we are growing up as kids, but even so, it's never too late to start over. Not all quality footwear has to be really highly priced or hand made, but spending just a few more dollars than usual on good value for money footwear can have beneficial results to personal foot care in the long term.
